African Lion Hound

Females are smaller and look different from males. They do not have manes. Adult lions have a plain unspotted coat, which is light brown to dark ochre in color. The cubs have spots on the coat. The tail of the animal has a black tuft at the end.

Their appearance is very much impressive. These are large animals. A mature male stands 4 feet at the shoulder and weighs about 450 pounds.
