This glorious creature inhabits open woodlands, grassy plains, savannahs, and scrub country. It avoids extreme desert and forest. They belong to the order Carnivora and the family Felidae. They are found on the territory from Senegal east to Somalia, East Africa, Angola, and northern Namibia.
