Bengal Kitten
The bengal kitten can be viewed on most cat photo sites.
These are very large and powerful animals. Thus, their body length ranges from 140 cm to 280 cm with a tail length of 60-100 cm. Males weight up to 300 kg and females reach up to 160 kg. The male’s range may overlap those of several females. Tigers mark their territory with scratches and scent markings. Males tend to avoid contact and fights do not occur frequently. Like all Tigers, Bengal Tigers are solitary animals and only unite during breeding seasons. These felines are excellent hunters and they are famous for their outstanding patience that allows them to lie in wait for many hours. They have very strong jaws and sharp retractile claws that leave their prey zero chance for survival.

There are actually eight species of Tigers and some of them are possibly extinct: the Siberian (or Amur,) the Bengal, the Sumatrian, the South Chinese, and the Indo-Chinese are scarce; the Caspian, the Javan and the Balinese have been extinct since the 1950’s. Bengal Tigers are the most numerous of the remaining subspecies. They have a striped coat that acts as a camouflage, and there are no two identical patterns. These Tigers have white spots on the back of the ears, which are highly reminiscent of eyes. The bengal kitten can be viewed on most cat photo sites.
