The biggest representatives of the breed are 3 meters long, with the tail 3 feet long. Their fur is usually orange-brown with black stripes, but white, albino or stripeless varieties are possible. They are very rare and are bred in captivity. These felids are fully grown at age of 2-3 years. Males reach 200-230 kg in weight, and females weigh about 130-170 kg. These animals come in orange-brown with dark strips all over the body; they have white bellies and white spots on the back of the ears. White species have blue, green or orange eyes.
