They have a flexible spine which allows their front legs to stretch far forward on each stride. While running, they cover 20 to 22 feet in one stride. These animals are faster than the fastest racehorse.

These animals are the fastest four-foot runners in the world. The maximum speed they reach is up to 70 miles per hour. When running, they pant intensely. When they move fast, their body temperature can reach as high as 105 degrees Fahrenheit. In 20 minutes their breathing and body temperature returns to normal state.
