Elk Bugle

This is a member of the deer family that lives in close association with the deer and moose throughout much of Utah. The cows (female elk) are naturally smaller than the male and do not have antlers. Mature bulls stand up to 60 inches at the shoulder and may weigh over 700 pounds. The elk bugle technique is important when hunting and info on bugling can be obtained on conservation and hunting sites.
