Animals of this species black leopards in appearance. They actually have the same litter size where can be both usually colored animals and the black colored animals. After a gestation period of 3-3.5 months, a female gives birth to 1-4 babies in a litter. A newborn animal weighs from 1.5 to 2 pounds.
