These animals have excellent vision and superb hearing that is why they are skilled night hunters. An adult male may travel 25 miles a night when hunting. They can run rather fast, climb trees and even swim, but only when necessary.

They are secretive territorial animals. They are more active after dark but can also hunt in the day time. They try to hunt in undisturbed areas to be far from humans.
