A baby ocelot can be obtained from a farm, but hunting these animals is prohibited.
Female of these cats are able to breed at the age of 18 month. The mating period usually begins in autumn. The gestation period lasts from 79 to 85 days. They usually give birth to one or two cubs; sometimes the cubs can be more.
