They are still found in damp coniferous forests from 4000 to 11000 feet high. they are very slow and cannot move to other areas that have not been affected by people. Poachers kill these creatures for their hides that are very expensive.

These majestic creatures are on the brink of extinction due to habitat destruction. Nowadays there are about 1000 of these animals in the wild and about 500 in captivity. These creatures rely on bamboo as their main food and cannot eat anything else. A bear endangered panda cannot be obtained from breeders you can only take their photos in a zoo.
