No wonder the African spotted leopard is poached for fur and pet trade from Africa and Asia; the yellow-tawny coat with black rosettes is captivating. These nocturnal animals have sharp vision and keen hearing. They inhabit the trees to sleep 16 feet above ground during the daytime. They eat their kill high above ground and return until the kill is consumed. Generally solitary animals, African Snow Leopard males and females hunt together during mating season.
