Armadillos are small mammals having a bony armor shell. All Armadillo species are native to both Americas, where they inhabit various environments. The Giant Armadillo reaches over 90 cm in length, while the smallest Armadillos have an overall length of 12-15 cm. Armadillos feed on insects and grubs; some species feed entirely on ants.
