Dromedary Camels are native to Africa and Middle East. Archeological findings suggest camels looked like oversized llamas (no humps) but became extinct in North America. Dromedary's occasionally patterned coats are short ranging from medium brown to dusty white. Single hump, long curved neck, small head with pointed short furry ears, and long legs with large kneepads characterize the Dromedary. The 2 foot-digits are actually toes with large attached nails on flatly spread, calloused, padded feet.
