Leopard cats, or far Eastern forest cats, habitat ranges from India to China to SE Asia. This domestic-sized cat has longer legs. Its coat is pale to dark yellow-red-gray with large solid black spots and blotches merging into stripes on neck and back. Its face and belly are white; ears are black with a white spot on back of each. Rodents, hare, birds, reptiles, fish, small deer and occasionally domestic poultry are hunted for food.
