Polar Bear Food
If the polar bear food is scarse, young babies can die of starvation; although hunting is banned, this species is still endangered.
These intelligent animals can wait patiently several hours next to a seal’s air hole. When a seal comes up for air, this large predator clutches it and drags out from the hole. In the wild, they feed on bearded seals, harp seals, hooded seals, walruses, sea foxes and sea birds.
