Siberian Tiger Info

Siberian tiger info is obtained from a conservation fund and possibly a local farm that raises the young. Those were quadruped animals with 44 teeth among which there were specialized one for cutting meat. Their bodies as well as the tails were long and they were divided by the evolution into two main groups: fissipeda, which means split feet, and pinnipeda, which means fin feet. Nowadays, there are eight known subspecies of Panthera Tigris: the Amur, Bengal, Indo-Chinese, Javan, Bali, Caspian, Sumatran and Chinese. The Bali, Javan and Caspian subspecies may be gone or scattered beyond restoration. The five remaining subspecies run the risk of losing their existence in the first half of the 21st century. There are about 200 Amur subspecies left in the wild, and about 250 animals are kept in zoos. Their population has sustained damage from extensive deforestation and poaching. This animal descended from the family of marten-like woodland animals that were called the miacidae. The ancestors of this cat lived in the end of the period of dinosaurs about 70-65 million years ago. There were not many fossils of the animal found. Modern felines are no descendants of the Saber-tooth species, which happened to be an evolutionary dead-end. Siberian tiger info is obtained from a conservation fund and possibly a local farm that raises the young.
