Siberian Tiger Fact
A siberian tiger fact sheet will include many pictures of the big cat in the photos section.
There are usually 3-4 cubs in a litter and they weigh over 2 pounds each and are born blind. Their mother guides the cubs for the first 8 weeks of their life. When the cubs are 18 months old they can hunt all by themselves. They become fully mature by age of 3-4 years. They are solitary animals and usually avoid trespassing on each other’s home ranges. Males mark their territory with urine and a secretion from the anal gland. Their home ranges may cover up to 200 square miles.

These are rare animals that are the biggest inside its class weighing 700-800 pounds and their length is about 8-10 feet excluding the tail being 25-28 inches long. These animals mate in winter with a gestation of 103 days, so that cubs are born by the time the weather becomes warm. Pregnant females take up residence in hollows, densely grown areas or under the lee of rocks and there give birth to their kittens. Males do not take part in raising the young, and females do not allow them to approach the lair. A siberian tiger fact sheet will include many pictures of the big cat in the photos section.
