This cat is native to Siberia where it is very cold and land is covered with snow for most of the year. These cats are the best hunters and still only one of the ten hunting trips is successful. They need big territories for hunt, as there is not much prey any more. Man’s activity has resulted in disappearance of much of their prey from their natural habitat and has made it less livable. The population of these felids has decreased drastically over the past century, and chances are there will be no such creature in the wild in about 20 years.
