The Siberian Tiger is the largest cat on earth, and it features relatively scarce strip patterns. The background color is usually pale orange-brown, paler than in other species. The animal weighs about 500-700 pounds, and usually measures 9 to 11 feet from the nose to the tip of the tail. Siberian Tigers can be found in the mountain woods of Ussuriland in Russia, and there used to be a lot of them in China and Korea. Nowadays, their population is decreasing, and there are no more than 400 tigers left in the wild. Actually, there are more tigers in zoos than in their natural habitat.
