The squirrel monkey picture can be seen on most monkey photo sites. These animals have a short brightly colored fur. It is thick and soft in texture. The species has little to no hair on the area around the lips and nostrils. The skin in these areas is black. Though there is a slight color variation within the species, the most common color pattern is that with white around ears, eyes, throat, and some areas on the neck. These primates are social, and move in groups containing about 20 species. Old world primates usually make up larger groups, containing 30 to 100 members. According to evolution, these animals are more primitive, and occupy a lower position on the evolutionary ladder. The squirrel monkey picture can be seen on most monkey photo sites.

Squirrel Monkey

  -

picture, photo

These animals are often described as one of the most peaceful primates. These little creatures are an attractive sight of Costa Rica and other tourist places. Their orange fur and funny faces are a great amusement for those who happen to see them. They are arboreal, and belong to the Platyrrhini infraorder of the Anthropoidea suborder. Like all New World primates, they have a flat nose and sideways projected nostrils separated by a wide septum. These animals are meant for wild life and do not make good pets. The squirrel monkey picture can be seen on most monkey photo sites.
