Endangered Tiger White

The endangered tiger white is sometimes bred on farms and a farm cares for the babies. Like all felines, these animals lead a solitary life; the only group that is possible is a mother with her cubs. Cubs depend on their mother for about two years till they learn to hunt alone. Females produce cubs only once in 2-3 years. That’s why the reproductive rate of these animals is very low. Both males and females have their own territory and mark it. The male’s territory includes several of those belonging to females. There are many animals with such coloring in captivity, but almost all of them are descendants of a wild male named Mohad that was captured in India in the 1950’s. Since that time no animals with such coat were registered in the wild. Bengal and all other species of these animals are on the brink of extinction due to habitat loss, poaching and lack of food. These animals are able to live and hunt in remote regions, but the civilization comes closer and forces these animals out of their habitats. Small groups become segregated, which leads to inbreeding causing a number of genetical disorders. The endangered tiger white is sometimes bred on farms and a farm cares for the babies.
