White Tiger Habitat

White tiger habitat has been reduced and a photo of the captive animals may be viewed on farms. Bengal and all other species of these animals are on the brink of extinction due to poaching and competition for food with people. These animals are able to live and hunt in remote regions, but the civilization comes closer and forces these animals out of their ranges. Isolated populations begin to inbreed and become susceptible to hereditary disorders. Hunting these animals and selling their body parts are prohibited in most countries, but poaching is still widely spread, as the demand for these animals is very high. Like all felines, this species is highly territorial. They inhibit the area from 10 to 30 square miles. Males’ home ranges are larger than those of females. It often happens that several females live in the home range belonging to one male. These animals are found in grassy areas and forests, which provide them with shelter, water, and enough prey. The reproductive rate of these naimals is rather low; females breed only once in 2-4 years. There are 1-4 cubs in a litter, and not all of them survive. These animals are endangered; hunting and selling their body parts is banned in many countries. White tiger habitat has been reduced and a photo of the captive animals may be viewed on farms.
